As you travel, immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of mountains, valleys, and charming Berber villages that dot the landscape. Descending from this lofty pass, you’ll encounter the UNESCO-protected 16th-century fortress, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, famous for its appearance in classic films like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

Crossing the river to reach the Kasbah, you can choose to take a leisurely walk or enjoy the unique experience of hiring a donkey to accompany you on this enchanting journey. Following the A Thousand Kasbahs route, you’ll arrive at the alluring Skoura Oasis, home to the picturesque Kasbah Amridil, renowned and featured in various Moroccan brochures.
