8 Day Morocco itinerary tour from fes

Today, we will pick you up from your Riad and start your 8 Day Morocco itinerary tour from fes, you will explore the mysterious city of Fes with a local tour guide. Begin with a drive uphill to enjoy the panoramic view of the Fes el-Bali (oldest Fes), which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. After taking pictures by the golden gates of the Royal Palace and stretching your legs in the Mellah (former Jewish Quarter), you will get into the heart of the Medina with its bustling cafes, countless alleyways that are shrouded in mystery. Pass by the Mederasas (Koranic Schools), museums, visit the Chouara tanneries, then the Souks before being escorted to your Riad/hotel in the late afternnon.

After breakfast at your Riad, we’ll take a drive to Chefchaouen, passing through the city of Ouazzan along the way. We’ll arrive in Chefchaouen around noon, and then we’ll begin our exploration of this enchanting city, often referred to as the “blue city” or the “blue pearl of Chefchaouen.” It’s a fantastic place for photographers because of its charming white and blue painted walls. We’ll take a stroll through the medina to appreciate the lovely architecture of this city. You’ll spend the night at your hotel.

After breakfast in your hotel, we will make our way to Casablanca. There, we’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque, which is the largest mosque in the world after Mecca. Afterward, we’ll enjoy lunch near the Corniche Coast before continuing our journey to Marrakech. You’ll have dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Marrakech.

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we will begin our tour of the key attractions in Marrakech. We’ll start with the Bahia Palace, which translates to “the palace of the beautiful.” This royal palace lives up to its name with its stunning eastern architecture and intricately carved panels.

Next, we’ll explore the Majorelle Garden, a place beloved by Yves Saint Laurent and a must-visit in Marrakech. These gardens are a serene oasis in the heart of the city. We’ll also visit the Menara Gardens, which have been around for centuries and beautifully showcase the city’s charm.

Our tour will take us to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest and most renowned mosque in Marrakech, built in the 12th century. Lastly, we’ll visit Jamaa El Fna, the central square of the city’s historic district, known as the medina.

After our exploration, we’ll return to your hotel for the night.

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, head further south to Merzouga desert visiting the impressive Todra Gorge. This high cliff has been an attraction among mountain climbers and nature-seekers. Stretch your legs while enjoying the breathtaking views before driving to Merzouga desert through Erfoud, known for dates and fossil factories.

Upon arrival in Merzouga desert, you will go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the miraculous view of the sunset. Get to the luxury desert camp where you will have a delicious meal for dinner before spending a relaxing night in your private en-suite tent.

After breakfast, you will spend most of the day exploring what the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi has to offer. You will get an insight into the traditional system of irrigation known as “Khettaras”, which consists of conveying water to the oasis by a digging wells and interconnecting them with an underground channel. Visit the Khamlia village, which is resided by black Africans brought as slaves and are known for the Gnawa Music they tend to perform to guest-visitors.

We will have a complete tour around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi offering miraculous view. Visit a local nomad family offering an opportunity to learn about their unique style of life before driving back to our hotel/Riad for the highlight of the desert experience.

Go on a camel ride experience  enjoying the breathtaking views of the sunset before getting to the our luxury desert camp where you will spend your third night.

After breakfast, we will begin your last 8 day Morocco itinerary tour from Fes by traveling along the Ziz Valley, with a stop at a scenic viewpoint along the way. Lunch will be served in Midelt.
