DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Agadir

Arrive in Agadir, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day relaxing on the beach or exploring the city’s attractions, such as the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella and the bustling Souk El Had. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring local cuisine.

Day 2: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate

Depart Agadir and travel inland to the ancient town of Taroudant, often called “Little Marrakech.” After exploring the town’s ramparts and souks, continue your journey through the Anti-Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate. Visit the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou and the Taourirt Kasbah, and spend the night in Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges

Leave Ouarzazate and drive through the Valley of the Roses and the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. Continue to the Todra Gorges, where you’ll take a short hike through the towering canyon walls. Spend the night in a guesthouse in the Todra Gorges area.

Day 4: Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

Travel from the Todra Gorges to Erfoud, a town known for its fossils and dates. Continue to Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Experience the beauty of the Sahara Desert as you watch the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a traditional Berber camp under the stars.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Midelt

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga. Visit the nearby town of Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and explore its lively market. Continue your journey through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains to the town of Midelt, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 6: Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Depart from Midelt and travel through the scenic Middle Atlas region, passing through the cedar forests of Azrou and the European-style town of Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland.” Arrive in Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart, where you’ll spend the next two nights exploring the city’s historic medina, madrasas, and mosques.

Day 7: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis

Take a day trip from Fes to the imperial city of Meknes, known for its impressive gates and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Continue to the nearby Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can explore the ancient mosaics and columns. Return to Fes in the evening.

Day 8: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca

Leave Fes and travel west to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After exploring Rabat, continue to Casablanca, where you’ll visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Spend the night in Casablanca.

Day 9: Casablanca – Essaouira

Depart Casablanca and travel along the Atlantic coast to the charming seaside town of Essaouira. Explore the city’s historic medina, with its whitewashed buildings, narrow streets, and vibrant arts scene. Visit the Skala de la Ville, a fortress with sweeping views of the ocean, and enjoy fresh seafood at a local restaurant. Spend the night in Essaouira.

Day 10: Essaouira – Marrakech – Agadir

On the final day, leave Essaouira and travel to Marrakech, where you’ll have a few hours to explore the city’s famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Garden. In the afternoon, continue your journey back to Agadir, where your 10-day Moroccan adventure concludes.
