We will then cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m), and get to the dramatic Ait Benhaddou, listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Ait Benhaddou consists of numerous Kasbahs (fortresses) on the former caravan route that used to connect Marrakech with the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains. After lunch, we will continue on the track to the Dades Valley, driving through Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa), where you might want to visit the famous Atlas Film Studios. Overnight at a Hotel in the Dades Valley.

After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad, head further south to the Merzouga desert to visit the impressive Todra Gorge. This high cliff has been an attraction among mountain climbers and nature-seekers. Stretch your legs while enjoying the breathtaking views before driving to the Merzouga desert through Erfoud, known for dates and fossil factories.

Upon arrival in the Merzouga desert, you will go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the miraculous view of the sunset. Get to the luxury desert camp where you will have a delicious meal for dinner before spending a relaxing night in your private en-suite tent.

The final day of your desert adventure begins with an early breakfast at your desert camp as the golden hues of sunrise light up the dunes. After bidding farewell to the serene Sahara, you’ll retrace your journey through the diverse landscapes of southern Morocco.
